How to Apply a Coupon Code at Checkout in PARKS DIRECT

If you have a coupon code for your purchase, you can apply it during checkout in PARKS DIRECT.

Coupon codes are entered on the Checkout page before you submit payment.

This guide begins at the Shopping Cart. For a complete guide on how to register for an activity, please refer to the "How to Register for an Activity" article.

Step 1: Review your checkout cart

After adding activities, camps, or other items to your cart in PARKS DIRECT, select the Checkout Cart icon in the top right corner to review your items.

Confirm that everything you want to purchase appears in your cart.

Step 2: Proceed to checkout

From the Shopping Cart page, select Proceed To Checkout.

Step 3: Locate the coupon section on the Checkout page

On the Checkout page, scroll down to the section labeled: Apply Coupon/Gift Certificate/Punch Payment/Reward/Scholarship

In the Type drop-down menu, confirm that Coupon is selected. If the drop-down is set to Gift Certificate, your coupon code will not apply.

Step 4: Enter and apply your coupon code

  1. Confirm Coupon is selected in the Type drop-down menu.
  2. Enter your coupon code in the Code field.
  3. Select Apply.

What happens after you apply a coupon code:

If the coupon is accepted, a confirmation message appears at the top of the page, and your total updates to reflect the discount. You can continue checking out as normal.

If the coupon is valid but does not apply to the items in your cart, a red message appears stating: “This coupon code does not apply.” Please be advised that some coupon codes only apply to select programs and events.

If the code you entered is not recognized, a red message appears at the top of the page stating: “The Coupon Code you entered is invalid.” This indicates that the coupon code is not a known code in the PARKS DIRECT system.
