Updated onArticleAt Prince George's Parks and Recreation we accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express) and checks, cash, and money orders. However, some programs may have payment restrictions. For example, Parks and Recreation does not accept personal checks for camp payments after June 1.

How to Request a facility for Community Connect
Updated onArticleTo request a rental waiver using the Community Connect Coupon, go to PGParksDirect.com. You must sign in using your organization's information, or PARKS DIRECT will submit your waiver under PARKS DIRECT's "Guest Household." The request will require a credit card payment at the end of the process.

Registration days
Updated onArticlePrince George's Department of Parks and Recreation offers four activity sessions each year. These include spring (March through May), summer (June through August), fall (September through November), and winter (December through February). Additionally, Parks and Recreation offers a separate session for summer day camp programs.
Registration begins one month before each session. For a session’s actual registration dates, visit www.pgparks.com or pick up a copy of the seasonal Your Guide to Parks and Recreation. Typical registration periods are as follows.

Updated onArticleIf an activity has reached maximum capacity, it may still be possible to join the activity's waitlist. Should a space become available, the offering community center staff will contact the waitlisted clients in the order they joined via the phone and email listed on the Household.
