How to purchase tickets online

Prince George's Parks and Recreation hosts ticketed events throughout the year. Below, you'll learn how to buy your tickets online with Parks Direct.

1. Go to  www.pgparksdirect.com to begin purchasing your ticket.

2. Log in to your Parks Direct account.

  • Select Login on the upper-right corner of the Parks Direct home page. Then enter your username and password in the login pop-up window. Lastly, select the Login button below the Username and Password boxes.

3. On Parks Direct's navigation bar, select Browse > Ticket Search. You'll find Ticket Search under Tickets on the Browse menu.

Some tickets don't require a Parks Direct account. Instead, you can purchase tickets as a guest.

Select Login on the upper-right corner of Parks Direct's website. On the login pop-up window, enter your username and password and select the Login button. See above.

Select Browse on the navigation bar. Then select Ticket Search under Tickets on the Browse menu. See above.

4. On the Ticket Search page, narrow your search by using multiple criteria like Keyword Search, Type, Location, etc., and then select Search under Ticket Code.

5. Browse the search results, and when you've found your desired ticket, add the ticket to your cart by selecting the green shopping cart icon.

On this article, select Assigned seating if you're buying a ticket for assigned seats, and Parks Direct brings up a seating chart. Select General seating if you're buying a ticket for general seating, and Parks Direct doesn't present a seating chart.

Assigned seating

1. If the ticket has assigned seating, you need to move down the page and choose your seats by selecting a seat on the seating chart.

  • Highlighted green circles indicate available seats, highlighted red circles indicate unavailable seats, and highlighted yellow circles indicate seats for people with limited mobility.

2. After choosing your seats, select Add To Cart on the yellow pop-up banner.

3. Select the checkboxes next to ticket admissions (adult, senior, student) and enter the number of tickets you're buying in the Quantity boxes. Ticket prices may vary by age.

4. Review the tickets in your shopping cart, then select Proceed To Checkout.

5. Move down the page and fill in the required billing information. Then select Continue & Accept Refund/Cancellation Policy.

Select the checkbox to the left of the admissions and enter the number of tickets you're purchasing in the Quantity boxes. See above.

General seating

1. If the ticket is general seating, enter the number of tickets your buying in the Quantity box and select Continue.

2. Select the checkboxes under the customer attending the ticketed event.

3. Answer any requested questions.

4. If there are fees, select the checkbox under add and then select Continue.

5. Review the tickets in your shopping cart, then select Proceed To Checkout.

6. Move down the page, fill in the required billing information, and select Continue & Accept Refund/Cancellation Policy.

Enter the number of tickets your buying in the Ticket Quantity box and select Continue. See above.

Select the customer who's attending the ticketed event. See above.

If there are any fees, select the checkbox under Add and then Continue. See above.

Review the tickets in your shopping cart, then select Proceed To Checkout. See above.
